AGENCY = we have agency and the moral responsibility to use it well. We can choose to love God with our hearts, mind, strength, love our neighbors as ourself, seek after and act in accordance with eternal truths.
The opposite of agency is to be acted upon - essentially the opposite of growth. It's being a puppet to someone else's will.
ALIGNMENT = Acceptance of ourselves, our situation, things as they are now & as they will be - we choose our reality!
It's being willing to accept God's will for us
It's our wilingness to accept the agency of others
Who we are = child of God vs. son of man
Our role as parents: pour ourselves into into our children in order to help them grow into someone as independent as possible.
